My illustrations were shown at Roundhouse in collaboration with the Museum of Youth Culture as part of their Three Sixty music festival. The exhibition explored contemporary youth music culture in London, covering communal music events to independent music consumption at home or online.
I contacted people in the local community to share their music playlists, and what the songs meant to them. I burnt the playlists onto CDs which I illustrated and created album artworks for to create an interactive display for people attending the exhibition and festival, bridging the gap between personal music consumption and communal.
As part of the exhibition, I ran a CD Artwork Workshop at Roundhouse where young people discussed meaningful music to them and their lives. I taught them different illustrative techniques to decorate their CD covers and design their own album covers.
